Day 1 - February 18 - Weight 147.4

And so we begin...

As I am typing this, I am drinking the warm uniodized salt water flush and it is difficult...so I decided to start this blog as a distraction until I get it down. Feels like I am drinking warm pee-water from a kiddie-pool. Therefore, for best results (i.e. not vomiting) I will continue to try and stop thinking this thought so I can finish with this flush.

I am doing this cleanse to start my body fresh from toxins. I have recently made a decision to eat 'clean' and love it. I thought clearing my intestines of any 'gunk' that has accumulated over the course of my years would only allow for better vitamin consumption and optimal nutritional health.

I know they say that some loose weight on this diet, and so I need to stress (as I have read in many blogs) that I am not doing this to loose the 'lbs'...as they WILL  just come back shortly after I end the cleanse (so I refuse get excited and buy a new bikini).  I am here for the right reasons (to cleanse my body) and hope with that good intention,  I can withstand 7-10 days of this lemonade which I hope tastes MUCH better than this salt flush.

I will be more candid than some other blogs I have read, as I think being candid sometimes gives the reader a real sense of expectation. That being sad, I apologize in advance if you can't handle that sort of thing.

I have now finished the salt water flush, but mid-drink had a huge and heathy bowel movement...good stuff...now on to the Lemonade.

I have prepared my entire day's mix in a gallon container, using 10x the lemonade mixture, this way it is easier. Below is one single serving size:

2 Tablespoons Fresh squeezed lemon juice (preferably organic)
2 Tablespoons Organic Grade B maple syrup
1/10 Teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper
1 Cup purified/distilled or spring water (not tap)

Summary:

So today went ok...I definitely am hungry and am craving real food, I want to chew. I did workout and found that my energy level was a little low. After the workout especially I wanted to EAT, but instead had the lemonade. The hunger passes, it is just the craving to feel food in my hands and mouth.  I hope I can last on this.

Last night (before starting the cleanse) I ate 1/4 of senna leaves and so, I did so again tonight...I am not certain how many times one is supposed to do the laxative tea PM/salt water flush AM combo, but I am going to do it again tomorrow morning.

All in all it was an ok day. I will see what tomorrow brings.
